The artist’s heartbeat enters into resonance with a pulsar signal captured by NASA. Two radically different phenomena — in scale, in nature, in distance — pulse according to the same rhythmic structure. This is not a metaphor: it is a demonstration that the same organisational logic traverses the living and the cosmic. As subject and object are one in the act of observation, body and universe are one in rhythm.
Pulsar (Astronomy) — A rapidly rotating neutron star emitting radio waves at regular intervals. It is what remains of a supermassive star after its explosion as a hypernova, supernova, or nova.
